How do I report a mistake on Sterling Medical Center?
Send it through our contact page. Include the page address, the sentence that looks wrong, and a source for the correct information if you have one.
We run this site with care, and our pages are built and checked using the method described on our How We Research page. Even so, a detail can be wrong or fall out of date. If that has happened, we are sorry, and we want to put it right.
What should I report?
- A fact that is wrong, such as an ingredient, an amount, a price, a guarantee or refund term, or what a study found.
- A cited source that does not say what the page says, or a link that no longer works.
- The wrong product or maker, or details that have changed, including a recall or safety warning.
- A product described in a way that breaks advertising or health-claim rules.
- An ad or banner that is not labelled as one, or that makes a claim of its own.
For example, if a page gives a dose for a supplement that differs from the label printed by its maker, or describes a study as measuring weight loss when it measured something else, please tell us. Send the maker’s label or the study link so we can compare them.
What happens after I report?
Each report is checked against the source. If the page is wrong, we fix it. The date line on that page then shows “Updated” with the date of the change.
What a correction does not cover
Corrections deal with facts and compliance. Decisions about which products we cover and how we compare them are editorial choices made by the publisher named on our About page. That page also discloses commissions and any connection to products we show. Requests to remove a comparison, a competing product or an ad are not corrections, but we read every one. If a maker finds something wrong about its own product, we welcome the source, and we will update the page if the source supports the change.
Legal notices and safety concerns
Send legal notices and concerns about a product’s safety through the contact page as well. If you or someone you know has been harmed by a product, speak to a clinician. You can also report it to the FDA through MedWatch.
Thank you for helping us get it right
Readers who notice a problem make these pages better for everyone. We appreciate every report, and we would rather hear about an error than leave it standing.
