Rugiet's flagship product, Rugiet Ready, is a lozenge that dissolves under the tongue. Innerbody's Rugiet review lists its three medicines as sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine, and Rugiet's other products pair tadalafil with different prescription medicines.
What ingredients are in Rugiet?
Rugiet sells several products, and each uses a different mix of medicines. Innerbody's review lists them as follows.
| Product | Ingredients listed | What the review says it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Rugiet Ready | Sildenafil, tadalafil, apomorphine | Erection difficulty; sublingual lozenge |
| Go Long | Tadalafil, paroxetine | Erection difficulty and premature ejaculation; daily tablets |
| Daily Boost | Tadalafil, DHEA (50mg per dose) | Erection difficulty and low testosterone |
| Grower | Tadalafil, minoxidil; the review also mentions 3mg biotin | Erection difficulty and hair loss |
| Recharge | Ramelteon, doxylamine, valerian root | Sleep |
| Weigh In | Metformin, bupropion, naltrexone (and others) | Weight control |
| TRT | Enclomiphene citrate, oral testosterone, topical testosterone gel, injectable testosterone | Testosterone |
Only Rugiet Ready contains apomorphine. Innerbody says your prescriber can include one, two or all three of Ready's medicines.
What do sildenafil, tadalafil and apomorphine do?
The NIDDK defines erectile dysfunction (ED) as a condition that “prevents you from getting or keeping an erection that is firm enough for sex” (NIDDK's erectile dysfunction facts). Innerbody describes Ready's three medicines this way:
- Sildenafil is a PDE-5 inhibitor and the key ingredient in Viagra. Innerbody says it is active for about 4 to 6 hours.
- Tadalafil is also a PDE-5 inhibitor. Innerbody says it remains effective for 24 to 36 hours and is not affected by meals.
- Apomorphine is a dopamine agonist, not a PDE-5 inhibitor. Innerbody says it is more commonly used for Parkinson's disease, is generally well tolerated, and can cause some nausea.
Innerbody says that because the lozenge absorbs under the tongue, the medicines can start working in around 15 minutes, compared with the 30 to 60 minutes it cites for pills. Rugiet's own site gives an onset figure from an internal survey of 101 Ready customers.
What are the ingredients of Viagra and tadalafil?
Sildenafil and tadalafil are both PDE-5 medicines. Innerbody names sildenafil as the key ingredient in Viagra, and Austin Urology Institute's Rugiet page states that tadalafil is the active ingredient in Cialis.
Viagra
The full list of Viagra ingredients, including inactive ones, is on the Viagra label. A pharmacist can also go through it with you. For a side-by-side look at Viagra, see directmax vs viagra.
Tadalafil
Innerbody says tadalafil is usually prescribed in a range of 2.5mg to 20mg, and that some men take a lower dose daily. Check the label of any tadalafil product for its full ingredient list.
What are the side effects of Rugiet, and what is the downside?
Innerbody lists these side effects and cautions for the medicines in Rugiet Ready.
| Medicine or factor | What the review says |
|---|---|
| Tadalafil | Muscle pain, often in the lower back, is one of the most frequently reported side effects. Risk rises with dose. |
| Sildenafil and tadalafil | Both come with cardiovascular implications. |
| Apomorphine | Can cause some nausea. |
| Combination in Rugiet Ready | Innerbody lists “combination of meds brings a higher chance of side effects” as a con. |
Beyond side effects, Innerbody names these downsides:
- Price. The review says Rugiet's prices are higher than comparable combinations from competitors “in just about every instance.”
- Heat. The lozenges start to soften above 70 degrees Fahrenheit, and the review says a hot car can liquify them within an hour. Rugiet advises keeping them in a fridge or freezer.
- Not for daily use. The review says Rugiet Ready “is not intended for daily use.”
- Few single options. Rugiet deals mainly in combinations, so single-medicine choices are limited.
What should you not mix with tadalafil or Rugiet?
Tell your prescriber about every medicine and supplement you take. These are the points to raise.
- Nitrates. BlueChew's Rugiet alternatives guide says that prescription medications “may interact with nitrates and certain cardiovascular medications.” BlueChew is a competing telehealth service.
- Blood pressure and heart medicines. Innerbody says to make sure your prescriber knows about any blood pressure medicine or heart condition before you take tadalafil.
- Alcohol and recreational drugs. The NIDDK advises avoiding recreational and illicit drugs and limiting alcohol. It notes that some drugs “can prevent arousal or other sensations” important for an erection (NIDDK's ED treatment page). Innerbody adds that apomorphine's nausea makes Ready a poor fit after heavy drinking.
Is Rugiet dangerous?
Rugiet describes itself as a prescription service. Its site says, “We only provide prescription medications, prescribed after a consultation with a board-certified physician.” Whether it is safe for you depends on your health history and current medicines, which is a question for your prescriber.
Rugiet's site includes this footnote: “Compounded drugs are not approved by FDA and do not undergo review or verification by FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.” BlueChew describes Rugiet Ready as a compounded medication.
The FDA's tainted sexual enhancement products page, as of October 5, 2026, says many such products are “likely to be contaminated with dangerous hidden ingredients.” Its warning is about products sold as supplements and enhancers, so check the product name, label and prescription you receive against each other.
Who may suit Rugiet Ready, and who may look elsewhere?
Innerbody says Ready may suit men who have tried one or more ED medicines alone and want to combine them, and men willing to pay more for a faster start. It says budget-conscious men have more affordable single-medicine options. If you have never taken an ED medicine, Innerbody says you should probably start somewhere else.
How much does Rugiet cost per pill?
Innerbody's review, updated May 13, 2026, lists these per-lozenge prices for Rugiet Ready. Prices and bundles change, so check today's price at checkout on Rugiet's site.
| Rugiet Ready tier | Price per lozenge | Sildenafil | Tadalafil |
|---|---|---|---|
| Low | $7.29 | 40mg | 14mg |
| Medium | $9.29 | 65mg | 22mg |
Innerbody notes that Rugiet's medium tier costs “around $2 more per lozenge” than BlueChew Gold's base dose at $7.30, and that the BlueChew base dose is the closer match. HSA and FSA eligibility is stated on Rugiet's site; contact your plan provider to confirm. To compare Rugiet with other telehealth options before you pay, see medvi quad vs rugiet vs hims.
What do Rugiet reviews and complaints say?
Reviews point in different directions, so compare them side by side.
| Source | What it reports |
|---|---|
| Innerbody review | Editor's rating 3.95. Category scores out of 10: available treatments 8.2, cost 6.8, convenience 7.8, privacy 8. Innerbody says its testing found lozenge consistency problems. |
| Better Business Bureau | Rugiet has an A+ rating. Customer ratings average 1.86 stars from 14 reviews. Most complaints concern canceling subscriptions or medication not working well enough. |
| Trustpilot | 4.2 stars out of 5, per Innerbody. |
| Rugiet's site | States “700k+ men have switched and stayed” and cites a survey of 114 active Ready patients from May 2025. |
| Austin Urology Institute | Publishes three patient quotes. The clinic offers Rugiet Ready with a cash pay option. |
Innerbody says its own cancellation experience was “pretty seamless,” but it cannot corroborate the complaints on the BBB. Quotes on the company's and clinic's own pages are promotional material.
Can I log in to Rugiet or buy it on Amazon?
For account help, contact Rugiet's US-based customer support team through rugiet.com. Rugiet's site describes a consultation-first route: a short medical questionnaire, then shipping only if a prescription is written. Ask the company directly whether it sells through any marketplace such as Amazon, and confirm that the seller you pay is Rugiet itself.
What else helps with erection problems?
The NIDDK lists habits that “could help prevent or improve” ED: quitting smoking, eating well, keeping a healthy weight, getting at least 150 minutes of moderate activity a week, managing stress, and limiting alcohol and drugs (NIDDK's ED treatment page). For a wider view of options, see Men's Sexual and Prostate Health.
Does tadalafil affect testosterone, kidneys or liver?
Innerbody says erectile dysfunction “is often associated with hypogonadism,” meaning clinically low testosterone. MedlinePlus's testosterone levels test page lists low sex drive, erection trouble and infertility as symptoms of low testosterone. It says the test can be used to monitor your health if you are taking a medicine that may affect your testosterone levels. Ask your prescriber whether to check yours. Rugiet's Daily Boost includes 50mg of DHEA per dose, which Innerbody says gives mixed results as a supplement.
For kidney and liver questions, ask your prescriber or pharmacist before you start, and tell them about any kidney or liver problems you have.
Using tadalafil for reasons other than erection problems, including bodybuilding, depends on your health history. Put that question to your prescriber.
Before you order
- Ask Rugiet's support team for its refund and cancellation terms in writing.
