About Dr. Saad

Abdulhassan Saad, MD, is a highly respected primary care and addiction medicine specialist at Sterling Medical Center. Dr. Saad earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan and went on to earn his medical degree at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences in Toledo, Ohio. Then, Dr. Saad completed his internal medicine residency at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine in Royal Oak, Michigan. Today, Dr. Saad is dual board-certified in internal and addiction medicine.

As a longtime Michigan resident, Dr. Saad was proud to open his primary care practice in the Dearborn community. Soon after launching his private practice, he realized the negative effect opioids were having in his community. He then chose to dedicate a significant part of his practice to opiate and alcohol dependency treatment. Dr. Saad coordinates care with a peer recovery coach from Higera Health, and also works closely with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
